Devtrest ("we", "us", "our") operates the QB Connect for WooCommerce plugin. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Software.

1. Information We Collect

a) Account Information: When you activate a license, we collect your WordPress site URL, admin email address, and the plan you selected.

b) Payment Information: When you subscribe or start a trial, your card details are sent directly to QuickBooks Payments (Intuit) for processing. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or expiration date on our servers. We only store the last 4 digits of your card and the card brand for display purposes.

c) QuickBooks Data: The plugin facilitates syncing between your WooCommerce store and your QuickBooks Online account. This includes products, orders, customers, invoices, and payment records. This data is transmitted directly between your WordPress server and QuickBooks Online via Intuit's secure API. We do not access, store, or process your QuickBooks data on our servers.

d) Usage Data: We may collect basic plugin usage data such as plugin version, WordPress version, WooCommerce version, and PHP version for compatibility and support purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Software
• To process license payments through QuickBooks Payments
• To send important notifications about your license (expiry, renewal)
• To provide customer support

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

• Intuit (QuickBooks): For payment processing and API connectivity, governed by Intuit's privacy policy
• No other third parties

4. Data Security

All data transmission between your site and QuickBooks uses TLS/HTTPS encryption. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC. We follow industry-standard security practices.

5. Data Retention

• License data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days
• Sync logs are retained based on your plugin settings (default: 90 days)
• Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax laws

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)

7. Cookies

The plugin does not set any cookies on your website visitors' browsers. Admin-side functionality uses standard WordPress session cookies.
